The Australian manager believes education is a better option than harsh punishment for the 27-year-old midfielder.UFABET
Spurs are hoping to reduce the Uruguayan’s ban from seven games to a maximum of six for his offences.
Asked if the decision to appeal the ban would look bad. Postecoglou said: “I don’t care about my appearance and what other people think… I’ve always said he did something wrong, we will accept whatever punishment he gets. But we believe the first one was a bit too harsh.”

“We have appealed what we believe to be our rights. If you look at the whole process, if you look closely, it is very low.”
“I understand that people these days want to burn people alive. But if you really want to learn, part of the process is understanding when people make mistakes. Part of that is educating, and hopefully seeing that will be the way forward.”
“Whether it’s Rodrygo or whoever, as I’ve said before, I’m old enough to say I’ve made worse mistakes in my life, but I’ve learned from them and hopefully I’ll be a better person from them.”
